The Night Movers was my second short film produced during my time at university, serving as a key milestone in my development as a post-production artist.

The narrative follows Billie, a young girl longing for a fresh start in the quiet aftermath of her parents' divorce. When her wish is unexpectedly granted, she quickly discovers that escape comes with unforeseen consequences. Shaping this story in the edit required a delicate balance between grounded family drama and building narrative tension to pull the audience into Billie's perspective.

Serving as the editor, I focused on crafting rhythmic pacing, building emotional resonance, and ensuring seamless visual continuity across every scene. The film went on to win Best Film at our university showcase—a milestone I am deeply proud of that reflects both our team's collective effort and the impact of a precise, character-driven edit.
