This edit was created for darts content creator Dan Coates, with the aim of turning footage from the world of darts into an engaging piece of short-form content. The project gave me the opportunity to work on content aimed specifically at a social media audience, where pacing and keeping the viewer engaged are particularly important.

I focused on creating a fast-paced edit that matched the energy of the sport, using a combination of match footage, reactions and motion graphics to keep the video moving. I also used transitions, sound design and effects to add more impact to key moments throughout the edit.

Working on the project also gave me experience editing content for a creator rather than a traditional brand, allowing me to think more about personality and specific traits of the creator, and how the finished video would work as social-first content.
